My BMI is 28 (I know, I’m overweight). This is still lower than 55% of males in my age bracket in the US, but I’m fatter than 81% of the world population. I’m most like someone from Qatar, which incidentally, is not *that* far away from where I was born and grew up.
EDIT: When I got weighed at the doctor’s office today, I was 180lbs. (Yeah, my scale at home has a variance of about 10lbs.) This puts my BMI at 27 (still overweight), lower than 60% of the male population in the US aged 30-44, and makes me more like an average Australian dude my age.
Even though I think BMI is an inaccurate measure of fitness or body fat, it is helpful as a general guideline to see if you’re within a healthy weight range.
This test is pretty interesting because you shows you how your BMI compares you to the people in the rest of the world. Try it out!
Huh. According to this my BMI is 22, which is “below average” at about the 8th percentile in the US and 30th percentile globally. It furthermore tells me that I’m most like someone from Zimbabwe.
We’re all just brothers from a different mother.

Exact same numbers for me, although I was hoping to come out more like a Kenyan. ;)
